Weekend Getaway at Kurinjal Peak 

Summary (All you need to know)

1. Inclusions: Stay, Food, Travel and Trek Guide. Read the below points for more details.
2. 2 Day Trek. You leave on the Friday night and will be back on the Sunday night.
3. Food : Vegetarian. 2 breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner will be provided by Tripbae, for the entire trip.
4. Stay Type: Dormitory. Separate Rooms for Men and Women.
5. Travel by: Non-AC with pushback seats, Tempo Traveller (11 people), Mini- bus (15-20 people) or Big Bus (22-30 people) – depends on the number of people
6. Difficulty Level: Medium. The last stretch is very steep, which will take 30 mins to complete.
7. Time for Trekking Up: 3 hours – 5 hours – Completely dependent on the group.
8. Trek Distance: 4.6 km one way.
9. Best Time to do this: July to February – monsoon, retreating monsoon and winter are the best months.

Here’s what happens when you book:

The booking

1. You book through our website or call us. If you call, you have the option to pay only the advance and settle the rest when the journey starts.
2. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll be added to a WhatsApp group a day or two before the trip. There, you’ll be in contact with the trek guide in charge of the entire journey.

On the day of departure

1. On the day of departure or before, you’ll receive very specific details about the pick-up location, timings, what to carry, and any other trip-specific information.
2. Pick-ups occur according to the timeline, and any delays will be communicated on the group. Text on the group for clarification; calling is recommended only if urgent.
3. Introduction of group members happens during the ride to the location, creating a safe and exciting space.
4. The trek lead will reiterate the itinerary of the entire trip.

Upon reaching the campsite

1. Upon reaching the campsite/dorm, you’ll learn about breakfast timings and other important trip details.
2. Follow the guide for the remainder of the trip.
3. Any delays by a group member will affect the entire group’s schedule.
