Our meticulously planned itinerary starts on Friday evening from Bangalore, followed by an overnight journey to Chikkamagaluru. On Saturday morning, after freshening up and having breakfast, you’ll embark on a thrilling jeep ride to the Kudremukh trek base. You’ll then start your trek and reach the majestic peak by afternoon, where you can enjoy your packed lunch. By evening, you return to the homestay to unwind and enjoy a campfire and dinner.

On Sunday, start your day with breakfast followed by an optional visit to a nearby waterfall. Later, visit the renowned Adi-Shaktyamaka Shri Annapoorneshwari Temple in Hornadu and explore the local sights before commencing your journey back to Bangalore.

Journey to Kudremukha in Chikmagalur

As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head towards the Chikmagalur. We'll embark on a comfortable journey of approximately 300 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations:

  • 07:00 PM: Silk Board
  • 07:20 PM: Koramangala
  • 07:30 PM: Domlur
  • 07:45 PM: MG Road
  • 08:30 PM: KTM Mekhri Circle
  • 08:45 PM: Yeshwanthpura
  • 09:00 PM: Goraguntepalya

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

07:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Have breakfast and carry packed lunch.

07:30 AM – 02:00 PM: Jeep Ride to the trek base, start the trek and reach the peak (6.5 hours)

02:00 PM – 03:00 PM: Reach the peak and have the packed lunch.

03:00 PM – 06:00 PM: Reach base camp (3 hours)

06:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Reach homestay and savour your tea.

07:00 PM: Enjoy the warmth of the campfire, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers. Dinner will be served and retire for the night (in dorms or tents depending on the weather)

What is included and not in the without-transportation package?

You will have to reach all the places on time as per the itinerary, by yourself. You will also need to synchronize your arrival times with the trek leader in case the Tripbae vehicle's journey experiences any delays. Other than that, accommodation, guidance, permits, and the rest which are mentioned in the included list are included.

Is it safe for females?

The safety and security of women/girls are paramount to us. Hence, it's entirely safe for women/girls to participate in our treks and travels. Our trek leaders always accompany the group, offering constant assistance and direction. Our campsites are thoroughly secure and provide a safe lodging environment. In addition, our female trek leaders often join our treks.

Can I reschedule my trek to a future date if I am unable to attend on the day of departure?

Unfortunately, it's not feasible to reschedule your trek to a future date if you're unable to attend on the designated day, regardless of the circumstances (like family emergencies, health problems, or work commitments). Are solo travellers allowed to join?

Yes, solo travelers are more than welcome on our trips. The beauty of solo travel lies in the chance to connect with individuals from varied backgrounds.
