Anthargange, located approximately 70 kilometers from Bangalore, is a popular destination for trekking and caving enthusiasts. The rocky hill range is dotted with numerous caves formed from volcanic rocks and boulders, offering an exciting spelunking experience in addition to the thrill of the trek.

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, there is no official entry fee required to access the Anthargange hills for trekking or caving. However, it’s always advisable to verify current regulations and any applicable fees with the local authorities.

If you are planning to join an organized trekking or caving group, the cost can vary depending on the services provided. These packages typically range from INR 1000 to INR 2000 per person, and can include transportation from Bangalore, a guide, safety equipment, and sometimes meals.

Do note that while the area is generally accessible, safety and conservation protocols must always be followed. The region is a natural treasure, and preserving its pristine condition should be a priority for every visitor.

As always, please make sure to verify the most recent and accurate information before planning your adventure to Anthargange.
