Our Triund Trek journey starts by picking up our co-travelers who are excited for their adventurous trekking and to eye-watch aesthetically pleasing sceneries along with our great leads from Tripbae Community who will guide our co-travelers throughout their journey. Pickup points for Triund Trek and Sightseeing from Dharamkot is:
7:00 AM – Dharamkot (less than 2 km from McLeodganj)
Day 1
After picking up all our co-travelers we will start our journey towards Triund Trek and Sightseeing from Dharamkot in tempo travelers or minibus with pushup back seats. We will all get to know each other on the bus trip, make new friends, sing songs, dance, and do many more fun activities. Our trekking journey has many key events like Camping, travel diaries, star gazing, sunset view, waterfall visit, and flag hoist at the peak.
One of the popular treks in the state of Himachal Pradesh, it can be counted amongst the easiest Himalayan treks too. With breathtaking views of the adjoining Kangra valley (that connects Kangra to Dharamshala) on one side and the snow-covered Dhauladhar range on the other, it is also quite picturesque. The trail to Triund is short (about 9km from Dharamkot, or 11 km from McleodGunj) but quite steep. On the way, trekkers come across rhododendron and oak trees with a few maggie points too to buy refreshments. After spending time we will head towards Homestay and have our dinner. We will then enjoy campfire time and take a good night’s sleep in our tents.
Day 2
The next day, we will start our trek journey downhill towards McLeodganj with all the unforgettable memories, experiences, and photographically capturing all moments. We will get down from the bus at respective drop points at Dharamkot with all the unforgettable experiences and recollecting the artistry beauty of nature. Triund Trek will always stay in our memories and the sceneries we came across throughout the journey. This trekking journey will be filled with all the experiences, happy moments, camping and photographically capturing all beautiful sceneries.
