Here’s what happens when you book:

  1. You book through our website or call us. If you call, you have the option to pay only the advance and settle the rest when the journey starts.
  2. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll be added to a WhatsApp group a day or two before the trip. There, you’ll be in contact with the trek guide in charge of the entire journey.
  3. On the day of departure or before, you’ll receive very specific details about the pick-up location, timings, what to carry, and any other trip-specific information.
  4. Pick-ups occur according to the timeline, and any delays will be communicated on the group. Text on the group for clarification; calling is recommended only if urgent.
  5. Introduction of group members happens during the ride to the location, creating a safe and exciting space.
  6. The trek lead will reiterate the itinerary of the entire trip.
  7. Upon reaching the campsite/dorm, you’ll learn about breakfast timings and other important trip details.
  8. Follow the guide for the remainder of the trip.
  9. Any delays by a group member will affect the entire group’s schedule.

Day 0 – Departure from Bengaluru

Journey to Somvarpet

As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head towards the Somvarpet. We'll embark on a comfortable journey of 280 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. Click on each location to see the exact pickup point.

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 – Exploration in Somvarpet, Coorg

  • 06:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Arrival and check-in at your accommodation. Freshen up and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast.

  • 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Visit Kushal Nagar Harangi Elephant Camp for an optional close encounter with elephants (activities are self-sponsored).

  • 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Engage in elephant feeding at Harangi Camp, beautifully located by the Kaveri River.

  • 12:30 PM – 02:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at a nearby local restaurant (self-sponsored).

  • 02:00 PM – 03:30 PM: Travel to Mallalli Falls, taking approximately 1.5 hours.

  • 03:30 PM – 05:00 PM: Explore the scenic Mallalli Falls.

  • 06:30 PM: Return to your accommodation for an evening of campfire stories and a delightful dinner.

Day 2 – Climax: Reaching the Summit!

  • 04:00 AM – 05:30 AM: Wake up and prepare for the day's trek (wake-up call provided).

  • 06:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Journey to and ascend Kumara Parvatak Peak, a 4-hour trek.

  • 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Enjoy a packed breakfast and the breathtaking views from the peak.

  • 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Trek to and reach Shesha Parvatha, taking about 1 hour.

  • 12:30 PM – 02:00 PM: Begin the descent to Kallu Mantapa, taking approximately 1.5 hours.

  • 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM: Continue descending to reach Bhattara Mane in about 1 hour.

  • 03:00 PM – 03:30 PM: Enjoy a packed lunch at Bhattara Mane.

  • 03:30 PM – 06:30 PM: Complete the downhill trek to Kukke Subramanya, taking about 3 hours.

  • 06:30 PM – 09:00 PM: Refresh and enjoy a self-sponsored dinner during your free time.

  • 09:00 PM: Depart for Bangalore by vehicle.

Day 3 – Homeward Bound

04:00 AM: Reach Bengaluru

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

You will have to reach all the places on time as per the itinerary, by yourself. You will also need to synchronize your arrival times with the trek leader in case the Tripbae vehicle's journey experiences any delays. Other than that, accommodation, guidance, permits, and the rest which are mentioned in the included list are included.

Your luggage will need to be carried to the Bhattara Mane Base Camp, which entails a 5-hour journey. After this, you can carry only the essentials for the trek.

The safety and security of women/girls are paramount to us. Hence, it's entirely safe for women/girls to participate in our treks and travels. Our trek leaders always accompany the group, offering constant assistance and direction. Our campsites are thoroughly secure and provide a safe lodging environment. In addition, our female trek leaders often join our treks.

Can I reschedule my trek to a future date if I am unable to attend on the day of departure?

Unfortunately, it's not feasible to reschedule your trek to a future date if you're unable to attend on the designated day, regardless of the circumstances (like family emergencies, health problems, or work commitments). "Come take the challenge" ~ the mountain speaks This places offers everything a thrill junkie like me needs, adrenaline, adventure, views, wildlife and most of all a sense of peace & satisfaction upon reaching the peak.
