Triund is a small hill station in the Kangra district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Triund is a part of Dharamkot. Triund is at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges and is at a height of 2,828 m.
Triund trek is one of the shortest and easiest Himalayan treks with spectacular scenery and a picturesque view of the snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra valley.
These two days short treks can easily be done on a weekend. Most of us barely get enough time to travel, explore new places and go on an adventurous trips. Triund trek allows us to explore the beauty and calmness of Himalayans, this trek might be short but it will; surely give you a little taste of adventure as the trail is a little steep at some points.
On this adventure, experience nature at its best and stay in camps overnight, sharing tents and sleeping in sleeping bags!
10:00 AM - Meet us at Dharamkot, which is less than 2 km from McLeodganj. We will start our trek from here. Prepare yourself to watch the scenic views of nature.rnFor beginners, this trek will take around 4-5 hours. We will move at a comfortable pace, exploring the trail, peeking through the dense forest, and drinking in the brilliant vista.rnWe will reach Triund before the sunset as that is the one thing that you cannot miss on this trek. Once youu2019ve witnessed the absolute beauty of the sunset, you can never forget it for life.rnIn the star-studded nighttime, we will start our story-swapping session around the campfire, and enjoy our scrumptious dinner.rnAround 10:00 PM - You can retire to your tent for the night.

The view of the sky's rapidly changing colors with the rising sun is more than just beautiful - it takes your breath away.rnAfter enjoying the sunrise, you can relax for a while, have breakfast and prepare for the dayu2019s upcoming trek.rnThis day, weu2019ll have to start early since weu2019ll be retracing the steps that we covered in the past day. However, since the way is mostly a descent, it is easier even for first-timers, and faster.rnWeu2019ll keep the pace comfortable and enjoy the enthralling trek back.rnIn the evening, we reach Dharamkot, where this journey ends.
