You are here after Manjummel Boys, we know. Kodaikanal is a hill town of Tamil Nadu. The word ‘Kodaikanal’ in the language of the land means “The gift of the forest”. Kodaikanal right now is a great time to go there yet the best time to go there is between October to March, in the winter. This town is smaller than ooty as well. The town is centered around the star shaped man-made lake – Kodai lake which is the center of attraction as well as geographical center of the town.
This backpacking trip will keep you going for a whole month, we promise!
Meet at the chosen starting point in Bengaluru and embark on your journey to Kodaikanal via private transportation.

Start your journey from Bangalore to Kodaikanal at 9 PM. The distance is approximately 465 km and it takes around 9 hours by road. You will arrive in Kodaikanal early in the morning.
09:00 AM: Visit Silver Cascade Falls.
10:00 AM: Reach Stay by 10 am. Have breakfast, freshen up and get into the vehicle at the time told by the trip guide.
02:00 PM: Visit Moir Point by 2 pm.
02:30 PM - 06:00 PM: Have Lunch*Self Sponsored. Cover Pine Forest, Guna Caves, Pillar Rocks and finally reach Poombarai Village for the Sunset View Point by 6 pm.
06:00 pm: After the sunset, get into the vehicle to reach the campsite, and savor your tea/coffee. Enjoy the warmth of the campfire, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers. Dinner will be served and retire for the night.
06:00 AM: Be ready by the time the trip lead tells you, have breakfast and leave to reach Dolphin Nose by 6am.
11:00 AM: Reach Solar Observatory Museum by 11am.
01:00PM: Have Lunch*Self-Sponsored and reach Coaker's Walk by 1 pm.
02:30 PM : Reach Kodai Lake Boating(*Self-Sponsored activity) by 2:30 pm. Spend time there and leave for Bengaluru.
05:00 AM: Arrive in Bangalore. The drop-off points will be the same as the pickup points.

▪️ 10:00 PM – New Year’s Eve Festivities: Kick off the New Year’s Eve celebrations with a campfire, scrumptious food, and music at the Home Stay.
Festive Fun: Enjoy an evening filled with fire sparklers, sky lanterns, cake cutting on the stay, and lots more to make this New Year's Eve your most memorable one yet! Enjoy the campfire, share stories and experiences with fellow travellers, have dinner, and retire for the night.

-Small backpack to carry your essentials during the trek
