What’s better than a single day trip? A 2-DAY TRIP! Join us as we head to Gokarna and have the time of our lives. We’ll be clicking and posting photos, and we want you to be a part of them!

Gokarna and Murudeshwara are a coastal towns in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, India.

Day 0 – Departure from Bengaluru

Journey to Gokarna!

As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head toward the Uttara Kannada District. We'll embark on a comfortable journey of 480 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. Click on each location to see the exact pickup point.

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 - Falls, Caves, Forts and Beaches!

  • 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Arrival at Campsite and Get Ready. Have breakfast and leave by 10.
  • 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Head to and reach Mahabaleshwara Temple.
  • 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Spend time at the Temple.
  • 12:00 PM – 02:00 AM: Head to and reach Mirjan Fort. Spend time there and explore the caves till 2 pm.
  • 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM: Lunch*Self-Sponsored
  • 03:00 PM – 05:30 PM: Head to and reach Om Beach. Spend time there till 5:30 pm.
  • 05:30 PM – 06:30 PM: Head to and reach the point to start trekking to see the sunset at Kudle Beach. After that, head back to reach the campsite and relax for the day while sharing photos which were taken in the day with your fellow travelers. 

Day 2 – Temple and Backwaters!

  • 06:00 AM – 09:00 AM: Wake up, get refreshed and have breakfast (Wakeup call provided)
  • 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Reach Murudeshwar and visit the temple and get back by 12 pm.
  • 12:00 PM – 02:30 PM: Head to and Honnavara boating*Self Sponsored.
  • 02:30 PM – 03:30 PM: Have Lunch*Self-Sponsored
  • 03:30 PM – 06:30 PM: Head to and reach Jog Falls. Spend time there till 6:30pm.

Head to Bengaluru after Jog Falls and have dinner*Self-sponsored on the way back. 

Day 3 - Homeward Bound

05:00 AM – Reach Bangalore

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

 Home Sweet Home:
Once you’ve reached your drop-off point, it’s time to head home, take a well-deserved rest, and start planning your next adventure!

What is included and not in the without-transportation package?

You will have to reach all the places on time as per the itinerary, by yourself. You will also need to synchronize your arrival times with the trek leader in case the Tripbae vehicle's journey experiences any delays. Other than that, accommodation, guidance, permits, and the rest which are mentioned in the included list are included.

What is the difficulty of this trek?

Easy. This trek is supposed to be relaxing in nature.

50% of the entire charge including taxes

What will happen if the trip does not go through?

Your money will be refunded within 2-3 business days

You would be added to a WhatsApp group a day or two before the trip date where all the last-minute information is shared. An email is also sent including important information about the trip.

Who can I contact for personal issues on or before the trip?

The trek lead. His/her phone number would be in the What’s App group you are added to.

Is it safe for females?

The safety and security of women/girls are paramount to us. Hence, it's entirely safe for women/girls to participate in our treks and travels. Our trek leaders always accompany the group, offering constant assistance and direction. Our campsites are thoroughly secure and provide a safe lodging environment. In addition, our female trek leaders often join our treks.

Can I reschedule my trek to a future date if I am unable to attend on the day of departure?

Unfortunately, it's not feasible to reschedule your trek to a future date if you're unable to attend on the designated day, regardless of the circumstances (like family emergencies, health problems, or work commitments). However, if you have concerns about this policy, please don't hesitate to email us at hello@tripbae.com, and our team will get in touch with you to discuss further.

Are solo travellers allowed to join?

Yes, solo travelers are more than welcome on our trips. The beauty of solo travel lies in the chance to connect with individuals from varied backgrounds. As the journey unfolds, unfamiliar faces become friends, cultivating a feeling of fellowship. Thus, we strongly encourage solo travelers to join our exciting ventures.
