Gokarna and Murudeshwara are a coastal towns in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, India.

Day 0 – Departure from Bengaluru

Journey to Gokarna!

As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head toward the Uttara Kannada District. We'll embark on a comfortable journey of 480 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. Click on each location to see the exact pickup point.

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 - Caves, Forts and Beaches!

  • 10:00 AM: Arrival at Campsite - Start your adventure by arriving at the campsite. Take some time to freshen up and prepare for the day ahead.
  • 11:00 AM: Breakfast and Campsite Exploration - Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the campsite. Post-breakfast, explore the surroundings and familiarize yourself with the area.
  • 12:00 PM: Depart for Belekan Beach - Board a vehicle to Belekan Beach, which marks the starting point of your scenic trek.
  • 01:00 PM: Trek from Belekan Beach to Paradise Beach - Embark on a trek from Belekan Beach to the stunning Paradise Beach, enjoying the coastal views and natural beauty.
  • 01:30 AM: Enjoy Paradise Beach - Spend some time at Paradise Beach, soaking in the sun and the breathtaking scenery.
  • 02:30 PM: Trek to Half-Moon Beach - Continue your trek along the coast to Half-Moon Beach.
  • 03:30 PM: Arrival at Half-Moon Beach - Arrive at Half-Moon Beach and take in more stunning seaside views.
  • 04:00 PM: Trek to Om Beach - Next, make your way to Om Beach, known for its unique Om-shaped coastline.
  • 04:30 PM: Enjoy Om Beach - Relax and enjoy the serene beauty of Om Beach. Lunch En Route (Self-Sponsored)
  • Take a break for a self-sponsored lunch, giving you the flexibility to choose what and where you eat.
  • 05:00 PM: Trek through the Forest to Kudle Beach - After lunch, the trek continues through a small forest leading to Kudle Beach.
  • 06:00 PM: Sunset at Kudle Beach - Arrive at Kudle Beach in time to catch a mesmerizing sunset.
  • 06:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Trek to Gokarna Beach and Explore Gokarna Market.

Note: Please arrange for private transportation if you are unable to walk from Kudle Beach to Gokarna Beach, which is approximately a 30-minute journey.

  • 08:30 PM: Return to Campsite - Return to the campsite for some downtime.
  • 09:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Campfire and Dinner - Enjoy the warmth of a campfire, share stories with fellow travelers, have dinner, and then retire for the night.

Day 2 – Temple and Backwaters!

  • 06:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Wake Up and Breakfast - Start your day early with a wakeup call, refresh, and have breakfast.
  • 09:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Visit Murudeshwar Temple - Travel to Murudeshwar to visit the renowned temple. Return by noon.
  • 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Honnavara Boating (Self-Sponsored) - Head to Honnavara for a boating experience. This activity is self-sponsored.
  • 02:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Lunch (Self-Sponsored) - Have a self-sponsored lunch post boating.
  • Post 3:30 PM: Head to Bengaluru - Depart for Bengaluru, with a self-sponsored dinner planned en route.

Day 3 - Homeward Bound

05:00 AM – Reach Bangalore

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

Once you’ve reached your drop-off point, it’s time to head home, take a well-deserved rest, and start planning your next adventure!

What is included and not in the without-transportation package?

You will have to reach all the places on time as per the itinerary, by yourself. You will also need to synchronize your arrival times with the trek leader in case the Tripbae vehicle's journey experiences any delays. Other than that, accommodation, guidance, permits, and the rest which are mentioned in the included list are included.

What is the difficulty of this trek?

Easy. This trek is supposed to be relaxing in nature.

50% of the entire charge including taxes

What will happen if the trip does not go through?

Your money will be refunded within 2-3 business days

You would be added to a WhatsApp group a day or two before the trip date where all the last-minute information is shared. An email is also sent including important information about the trip.

Who can I contact for personal issues on or before the trip?

The trek lead. His/her phone number would be in the What’s App group you are added to.

Is it safe for females?

The safety and security of women/girls are paramount to us. Hence, it's entirely safe for women/girls to participate in our treks and travels. Our trek leaders always accompany the group, offering constant assistance and direction. Our campsites are thoroughly secure and provide a safe lodging environment. In addition, our female trek leaders often join our treks.

Can I reschedule my trek to a future date if I am unable to attend on the day of departure?

Unfortunately, it's not feasible to reschedule your trek to a future date if you're unable to attend on the designated day, regardless of the circumstances (like family emergencies, health problems, or work commitments). Are solo travellers allowed to join?

Yes, solo travelers are more than welcome on our trips. The beauty of solo travel lies in the chance to connect with individuals from varied backgrounds. As the journey unfolds, unfamiliar faces become friends, cultivating a feeling of fellowship. Thus, we strongly encourage solo travelers to join our exciting ventures.

No one will response properly or get back to us with an resolution
