Gokarna and Murudeshwara are a coastal towns in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, India.

Day 0 – Departure from Bengaluru

Journey to Gokarna!

As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head toward the Uttara Kannada District. We'll embark on a comfortable journey of 480 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. Click on each location to see the exact pickup point.

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 - Falls, Caves, Forts and Beaches!

  • 10:00 AM: Arrival at Campsite - Start your adventure by arriving at the campsite. Take some time to freshen up and prepare for the day ahead.
  • 11:00 AM: Breakfast and Campsite Exploration - Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the campsite. Post-breakfast, explore the surroundings and familiarize yourself with the area.
  • 12:00 PM: Depart for Belekan Beach - Board a vehicle to Belekan Beach, which marks the starting point of your scenic trek.
  • 01:00 PM: Trek from Belekan Beach to Paradise Beach - Embark on a trek from Belekan Beach to the stunning Paradise Beach, enjoying the coastal views and natural beauty.
  • 01:30 AM: Enjoy Paradise Beach - Spend some time at Paradise Beach, soaking in the sun and the breathtaking scenery.
  • 02:30 PM: Trek to Half-Moon Beach - Continue your trek along the coast to Half-Moon Beach.
  • 03:30 PM: Arrival at Half-Moon Beach - Arrive at Half-Moon Beach and take in more stunning seaside views.
  • 04:00 PM: Trek to Om Beach - Next, make your way to Om Beach, known for its unique Om-shaped coastline.
  • 04:30 PM: Enjoy Om Beach - Relax and enjoy the serene beauty of Om Beach. Lunch En Route (Self-Sponsored)
  • Take a break for a self-sponsored lunch, giving you the flexibility to choose what and where you eat.
  • 05:00 PM: Trek through the Forest to Kudle Beach - After lunch, the trek continues through a small forest leading to Kudle Beach.
  • 06:00 PM: Sunset at Kudle Beach - Arrive at Kudle Beach in time to catch a mesmerizing sunset.
  • 06:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Trek to Gokarna Beach and Explore Gokarna Market.

Note: Please arrange for private transportation if you are unable to walk from Kudle Beach to Gokarna Beach, which is approximately a 30-minute journey.

  • 08:30 PM: Return to Campsite - Return to the campsite for some downtime.
  • 09:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Campfire and Dinner - Enjoy the warmth of a campfire, share stories with fellow travelers, have dinner, and then retire for the night.

Day 2 – Temple and Backwaters!

  • 06:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Wake Up and Breakfast - Start your day early with a wakeup call, refresh, and have breakfast.
  • 09:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Visit Murudeshwar Temple - Travel to Murudeshwar to visit the renowned temple. Return by noon.
  • 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Honnavara Boating (Self-Sponsored) - Head to Honnavara for a boating experience. This activity is self-sponsored.
  • 02:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Lunch (Self-Sponsored) - Have a self-sponsored lunch post boating.
  • 03:30 PM - 6:30 PM: Visit Jog Falls - Proceed to Jog Falls and spend time enjoying the spectacular waterfall.
  • Post 6:30 PM: Head to Bengaluru - Depart for Bengaluru, with a self-sponsored dinner planned en route.

Day 3 - Homeward Bound

05:00 AM – Reach Bangalore

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

Once you’ve reached your drop-off point, it’s time to head home, take a well-deserved rest, and start planning your next adventure!

What is included and not in the without-transportation package?

You will have to reach all the places on time as per the itinerary, by yourself. You will also need to synchronize your arrival times with the trek leader in case the Tripbae vehicle's journey experiences any delays. Other than that, accommodation, guidance, permits, and the rest which are mentioned in the included list are included.

What is the difficulty of this trek?

Easy. This trek is supposed to be relaxing in nature.

What will happen if the trip does not go through?

Is it safe for females?

The safety and security of women/girls are paramount to us. Hence, it's entirely safe for women/girls to participate in our treks and travels. Our trek leaders always accompany the group, offering constant assistance and direction. Our campsites are thoroughly secure and provide a safe lodging environment. In addition, our female trek leaders often join our treks.

Can I reschedule my trek to a future date if I am unable to attend on the day of departure?

Unfortunately, it's not feasible to reschedule your trek to a future date if you're unable to attend on the designated day, regardless of the circumstances (like family emergencies, health problems, or work commitments). Are solo travellers allowed to join?

Yes, solo travelers are more than welcome on our trips. The beauty of solo travel lies in the chance to connect with individuals from varied backgrounds. Worst experience

I just want to end this year peacefully. So I have planned trip. But big mistake I did was booking in Tripbae. Worst bus they have arranged for travel. Day 1 we reached around 1pm. Instead of 5 beaches able to cover only 2. Heading towards tent stay around 6:30 but it we reached tent stay at 9:30 only. They didn’t plan properly,simply we were stuck in travelling. They didn’t even play a song. Charging points were broken in bus. The main thing is they didn’t stop the bus at proper intervals for washrooms and they have stopped in petrol bunks only for washroom, that was horrible. Whenever the organisers want to do something they have stopped the bus, they didn’t even consider about passengers. Didn’t stop for snacks, lunch and dinner at proper time. We had dinner around 1am. While we were raising the concern on dinner time he was stopped the bus mid of somewhere and simply told us to search restaurant eat and come back to bus. He was not ready to take any responsibilities. Totally it was a horrible experience. Organiser only took decisions but all are wrong decisions. Due to his poor decision making skill we were not able to cover 60% places what they have promised.

Worst experience , refund my money

worst trip i had is with tripbae , in the beginning they started late letting the whole one day wasted , food was bad , tent were the second worst part , tour guide are soo bad i cant even tell u , they didn’t even take us to jog falls and not also communicated , left us at way beyond our spot ( silk board) letting us to pay six hundred extra to cab drivers.

The Gokarna trip on 27th December (Batch 3) was a terrible experience, especially during the pick-up and drop-off. The itinerary was not followed as promised, and the organizer constantly blamed the crowd, which seemed untrue. The bus service was extremely poor, with a tyre catching fire before reaching Gokarna. Only two beaches were covered, while key spots like Mahabaleshwar Temple, Jog Falls, and the mangroves were completely skipped. Overall, it was a total waste of time.
