Day 0 – Embark on a Scenic Journey to Kodagu

Evening Departure: As dusk falls over Bengaluru, our exciting journey kicks off towards the majestic adventure in Kodagu. Join us in a well-equipped Tempo Traveler or Minibus featuring comfortable push-back seats for a 280 km adventure. Settle in as we navigate through the night, eager to embrace the serene landscapes of Kodagu.

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. Click on each location to see the exact pickup point.

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 – Royal Exploration in Coorg

▪️ Morning Arrival: Welcome the day with the refreshing highlands of Coorg, arriving around 6:00 AM.
▪️ 06:00 AM - 08:30 AM: Venture to Mandalpatti View Point for breathtaking views (Jeep ride, self-sponsored)
▪️ 09:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Arrive, check into your accommodation, freshen up, and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
▪️ 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Visit the Omkareshwar Temple
▪️ 12:00 PM – 02:00 PM: Explore the iconic Abbey Falls.
▪️ 02:30 PM – 03:30 PM: Relish a local lunch (self-sponsored).
▪️ 04:00 PM - 06:00 PM: Proceed to Raja Seat.
▪️ 07:00 PM: Return to your stay for a night of campfire tales and delicious dinner.

Day 2 – A Tryst with Nature and Spirituality

Relaxed Morning: After a restful night, start your day leisurely with breakfast at 10:00 AM.

▪️ 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Visit Namdroling Monastery, a significant center of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism.
▪️ 11:00 AM – 02:00 PM: Explore the tranquil settings of the monastery.
▪️ 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant (self-sponsored).
▪️ 03:30 PM – 05:30 PM: Head to Kushal Nagar Harangi Elephant Camp for an up-close experience with elephants (Optional activities, self-sponsored). 
▪️ 05:30 PM – Begin your return to Bengaluru, stopping for dinner on the way (self-sponsored).
▪️ 10:00 PM: Reach Bengaluru the drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

🚭 No Smoking – Prevent wildfires and keep the air clean. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the trail.

🔥 No Campfires – Help protect the environment. Open flames can cause forest fires and damage wildlife habitats.

🚯 No Plastics – Keep the trail clean and plastic-free. Carry reusable items and pack out all waste.

What is included and not in the without-travel package?

You will have to reach all the places on time as per the itinerary, by yourself. You will also need to synchronize your arrival times with the trek leader in case the Tripbae vehicle's journey experiences any delays. Other than that, accommodation, guidance, permits, and the rest which are mentioned in the included list are included.

Can I call to book tickets with Tripbae?

How much advance would I have to pay to book the trip?

50% of the entire charge including taxes

What will happen if the trip does not go through?

Your money will be refunded within 2-3 business days

How will I be communicated with once the payment is done?

You would be added to a WhatsApp group a day or two before the trip date where all the last-minute information is shared. An email is also sent including important information about the trip.

Who can I contact for personal issues on or before the trip?

The trek lead. His/her phone number would be in the What’s App group you are added to.

Is it safe for females?

The safety and security of women/girls are paramount to us. Hence, it's entirely safe for women/girls to participate in our treks and travels. Our trek leaders always accompany the group, offering constant assistance and direction. Our campsites are thoroughly secure and provide a safe lodging environment. In addition, our female trek leaders often join our treks.

Can I reschedule my trek to a future date if I am unable to attend on the day of departure?

Unfortunately, it's not feasible to reschedule your trek to a future date if you're unable to attend on the designated day, regardless of the circumstances (like family emergencies, health problems, or work commitments). Are solo travellers allowed to join?

Yes, solo travelers are more than welcome on our trips. The beauty of solo travel lies in the chance to connect with individuals from varied backgrounds. When is the best time to visit Coorg?

While winter is generally the best time to visit Coorg, it's essential to note that this region is beautiful year-round. However, the monsoon season (June to September) can bring heavy rainfall, leading to slippery roads and limited outdoor activities. The summer months (April to June) can be warmer, but they are still relatively pleasant compared to some other parts of India. Ultimately, the choice of when to visit depends on personal preferences and the type of experience you seek in this charming hill station.
