The trek begins from the base village and takes you through dense forests, mud trails, and open valleys, offering breathtaking views throughout the journey. The trail leads to the historic Rajmachi Fort, which includes the twin forts of Shrivardhan and Manaranjan, standing tall amidst the hills.

Adding to the experience is the peaceful lakeside camping setup. Surrounded by calm waters and greenery, the campsite offers a perfect escape into nature. As night falls, enjoy the soothing breeze, a cozy campfire, and a sky full of stars—far away from city lights and noise.

Itinerary

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. Click on each location to see the exact pickup point.

  • 6.00 PM: Report at station.
  • 6.45 PM: Board train for Lonavala.
  • 8.30 PM: reach Lonavala station & take jeep/ rickshaw for base village.
  • 9.30 PM: Reach base village. Start with the forest trek till campsite.
  • 10.30 PM: reach campsite pitch tents beside Lake.
  • Have Dinner.

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

  • 8:00 AM: Wakeup. Freshen up. Click pictures.
  • 9:00 AM: Go back to base village. Have breakfast & Tea.
  • 10:00 AM: Depart for Pune.
  • 12:00 PM: Reach Pune

  • Note: Drop-off points being the same as the pick-up locations

    Please bear in mind that this itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions and other variables. Furthermore, the timings provided are approximate and could vary depending on the group's pace.

-A photocopy of your Aadhar/Voter ID (Compulsory for obtaining permits)

-A compact backpack to hold your necessities during the trek

-Water bottles - 1-2 (Each of 1 liter)

-Raincoat (poncho) or Bag covers for potential rain

-Comfortable trekking shoes with good grip and an extra pair of socks

-A torch or headlamp for nighttime use

-Portable chargers for your electronic devices

-Portable snacks such as energy boosters, tissues, chocolates, dry fruits, etc., for consumption during the trek

-Personal medication
