Journey to Dandeli

As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head toward the Uttara Kannada District. We'll embark on a comfortable journey of 460 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations

  • 07:00 PM: Silk Board
  • 07:20 PM: Koramangala
  • 07:30 PM: Domlur
  • 07:45 PM: MG Road
  • 08:30 PM: KTM Mekhri Circle
  • 08:45 PM: Yeshwanthpura
  • 09:00 PM: Goraguntepalya

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

07:00 AM - 09:00 AM: Reach campsite, freshen up, have breakfast, and explore the campsite

09:00 AM – 11:15 AM: Start hike from the campsite up the Syntheri Rocks to view the waterfalls (2.5 hours)

11:15 AM – 11:45 AM: Enjoy the stunning views of the waterfall from the top of the Syntheri Waterfall

11:45 AM – 01:30 PM: Return to reach the campsite (1 hour 45 minutes)

01:30 PM – 02:00 PM: Have Lunch

02:00 PM – 06:00 PM: Head to experience the most popular Adventure Activities*Self-Sponsored and return to the campsite (4 hours)

06:00 PM: Enjoy the warmth of the campfire, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers. Dinner will be served and retire for the night.

02:00 PM – 02:30 PM: Explore the caves and take a dip in the natural pool of the cave (Optional)

03:00 PM – 05:00 PM: Descend to reach the starting point of the trek (2 hours)

05:00 PM – 06:00 PM: Have a cup of tea and relax

06:00 PM: Board the vehicle to return to Bengaluru

Day 3 – Homeward Bound

05:00 AM: Reach Bengaluru

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

Christmas and New Year Plan!!

Note: The trek lead will decide on which day these activities will take place

Christmas and New Year:

  • Two people would get one sky lantern. 
  • People are also supposed to get a gift to play "Secret Santa" where we exchange gifts with each other (The price of the gift should ideally not exceed 300 rupees) (Only for Christmas)
  • Cake cutting
  • Music and Dance (if and only if, enough of you join the trip, we could get a DJ!)
  • Genuinely enjoyable activities that bring happiness.
  • Firecrackers in all places except Nethravati trip and Kudremukh trip (We would rather enjoy the silence) (Not allowed)

What is included and not in the without-transportation package?

You will have to reach all the places on time as per the itinerary, by yourself. You will also need to synchronize your arrival times with the trek leader in case the Tripbae vehicle's journey experiences any delays. Other than that, accommodation, guidance, permits, and the rest which are mentioned in the included list are included.

50% of the entire charge including taxes

What will happen if the trip does not go through?

Your money will be refunded within 2-3 business days

You would be added to a WhatsApp group a day or two before the trip date where all the last-minute information is shared. An email is also sent including important information about the trip.

The trek lead. His/her phone number would be in the What’s App group you are added to.

Is it safe for females?

The safety and security of women/girls are paramount to us. Hence, it's entirely safe for women/girls to participate in our treks and travels. Our trek leaders always accompany the group, offering constant assistance and direction. Our campsites are thoroughly secure and provide a safe lodging environment. In addition, our female trek leaders often join our treks.

Can I reschedule my trek to a future date if I am unable to attend on the day of departure?

Unfortunately, it's not feasible to reschedule your trek to a future date if you're unable to attend on the designated day, regardless of the circumstances (like family emergencies, health problems, or work commitments).
