Day 0 - Departure from Bengaluru

Meet at the designated starting point in Bengaluru and travel to Shivagange by private transportation. We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. Click on each location to see the exact pickup point.

Note: -For a group of 10-11, a 12-seater Tempo Traveler will be provided -For a group of 20, a 22-seater Mini Bus will be allocated -For a group of 30, a 30-seater bus will be supplied -The pick-up points don't change but the timings are tentative.

Day 1 - Time for an uphill hike!

▪️ 03:30 AM - Arrive at the base of Shivagange Betta and take some time to relax

Note: Due to Government restrictions trek start at 5:30 AM.

▪️ 05:30 AM - Begin the ascent to the peak of Shivagange Hills
▪️ 07:00 AM - Reach the summit of Shivagange Hills
▪️ 08:00 AM - Start the descent towards the base
▪️ 09:30 AM - Take a break en route to Bangalore and enjoy a self-funded breakfast.
▪️ 12:30 PM - Arrive back in Bangalore, marking the end of this exciting adventure

The safety and security of women/girls are paramount to us. Hence, it's entirely safe for women/girls to participate in our treks and travels. Our trek leaders always accompany the group, offering constant assistance and direction. Our camp sites are thoroughly secure and provide a safe lodging environment. In addition, our female trek leaders often join our treks.

Are there restroom facilities available during the trek?

No, since you'll be traversing the mountains, our trekking routes do not provide restroom facilities.

What does the "Without Transportation" option signify during the booking process?

Selecting the "Without Transportation" option implies that you will be arranging all your travel needs for the complete itinerary. The Tripbae team will not handle any facet of your transportation. We suggest the use of a car for a hassle-free journey to, from and around the destination.

Can I reschedule my trek to a future date if I am unable to attend on the day of departure?

Unfortunately, it's not feasible to reschedule your trek to a future date if you're unable to attend on the designated day, regardless of the circumstances (like family emergencies, health problems, or work commitments). There are no food or drink provisions on the trek; it's necessary for you to bring your own. It's advised to carry two to three liters of water for this hike. In terms of food, consider bringing packed items like fresh fruits, dry snacks, energy bars and cakes while avoiding hot and salty foods.
