Day 0 - Departure from Bangalore

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations. Click on each location to see the exact pickup point.

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 – Waterfalls for the Eyes and Temple for the Soul

06:00 AM - 07:00 AM: Check-in the homestay

07:00 AM – 08:00 AM: Freshen-up and have breakfast

09:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Visit Samse Tea Estate

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Reach Horanadu Temple, have Darshan and Lunch (Either temple prasadam or lunch in near-by hotel (self-sponsored) 

02:30 PM – 04:30 PM: Visit Soormane Falls (Jeep ride is self-sponsored)

05:30 PM: Visit Hanging Bridge Kalasa

07:00 PM: Reach Homestay, have dinner and rest

Day 2 - Kurinjal Trek

05:30 AM - Wake-up call

06:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Freshen up, have breakfast and carry packed lunch

Note: Forest permits are not included. They are subject to availability and will incur an additional cost of INR 480.

07:30 AM – 09:00 AM: Travel to the starting point of the Kudremukha(Jeep ride-self-sponsored)

01:30 PM – 02:30 PM: Have packed lunch

02:30 PM: Start descent

06:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Reach homestay and sip tea with snacks

08:00 PM – Depart to Bangalore

Drop-off Points are same as pick-up points.

05:30 AM: Reach Bangalore

Day 3 - Homeward Bound

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

Home Sweet Home: Once you’ve reached your drop-off point, it’s time to head home, take a well-deserved rest, and start planning your next adventure!

Trail Guidelines: Protect Nature & Stay Safe

🚭 No Smoking – Prevent wildfires and keep the air clean. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the trail.

🔥 No Campfires – Help protect the environment. Open flames can cause forest fires and damage wildlife habitats.

🚯 No Plastics – Keep the trail clean and plastic-free. Carry reusable items and pack out all waste.

What is included and not in the without-transportation package?

You will have to reach all the places on time as per the itinerary, by yourself. You will also need to synchronize your arrival times with the trek leader in case the Tripbae vehicle's journey experiences any delays. Other than that, accommodation, guidance, permits, and the rest which are mentioned in the included list are included.

What is the difficulty of this trek?

You would be added to a WhatsApp group on the trip date where all the last-minute information is shared. An email is also sent including important information about the trip.

The trek lead. His/her phone number would be in the What’s App group you are added to.

Is it safe for females?

The safety and security of women/girls are paramount to us. Hence, it's entirely safe for women/girls to participate in our treks and travels. Our trek leaders always accompany the group, offering constant assistance and direction. Our campsites are thoroughly secure and provide a safe lodging environment. In addition, our female trek leaders often join our treks.

Can I reschedule my trek to a future date if I am unable to attend on the day of departure?

Unfortunately, it's not feasible to reschedule your trek to a future date if you're unable to attend on the designated day, regardless of the circumstances (like family emergencies, health problems, or work commitments).
